While reading the book "Take Your Best Shot", I realized that we all have something to give back to the Lord. When you love God, you don't have a problem using your talents because you already know according to the Word that they don't belong to you anyway.
Austin Gutwein loved basketball, but he loved God more. He thought it would be a good idea to put both of his loves together to bless someone else. This story encouraged me to think about my own talents and how I could use them for the Kingdom of God.
One of my loves is drawing. I know that this can be used to bless many. One of the things in this word that saddens me is the amount of homeless people we have. With my drawings I would like to make money to help with homeless shelters, buy food and clothing, provide education, and most of all to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This report has inspired me to put together a collection of my drawings entitled: "There's More than Lead in my Pencil." I would like for these drawings to be seen by many but most of all, be sold so that many lives can be changed for Jesus Christ.
I would like to thank the Lord for this talent and allowing me to use it for Him to bless the homeless.
